Property Management Quinns Rocks - Perth - Suburb Profile
Quinns Rocks, near the coast about 40km north of Perth’s CBD, is virtually an outer suburb of that lovely city, but it also sits right in the middle of national park territory - namely the Neerabup National Park and, a bit further north, Yanchep National Park.

Yanchep has some impressive limestone caves, tuart tree forests and supervised ‘wildflower walks’ in season.

The quaintly named Loch McNess lake is a wildfowl sanctuary within the park.

A few kilometres north of Quinns Rocks is the town of Yanchep, which is finally starting to realise its promise of being WA’s biggest and brightest seaside resort destination.

The local beaches around are pretty special, and the area is also popular with fisherfolk, sailors and boaties, who have plenty of marinas and launching ramps from which to choose.

In 1986 a fabulous specimen of the rare sea slug genus chromodoris aurigera was discovered at Quinns Rocks.

Until recently, this colourful slug was thought to exist only in WA waters, but now it seems something similar has turned up in Indonesian waters, much to the disappointment of Quinns Rocks locals.
