Just 10 minutes drive from Moreton Bay you will find the growing residential suburb of Mt Cotton.
From originally being considered too far from Brisbane to be of much residential use, this flourishing area was once arguably home to some of Brisbane's first energy-conscious inhabitants. Established in the 70s as a solar project, encouraging buildings that were energy-conscious and solar-passive, Mt Cotton's first residents were green and proud of it.
